Hanging out with Maisie and Bear
I arrived at Maisie and Bear's house last weekend while their parents were still at the farmer's market. Despite only ever meeting them a handful of times before, when I let myself into the open house Maisie immediately tried to lick my face. Bear, snuck up, surprisingly quietly given his age and stiffness, and stealthily greeted me with a nose boop to my behind.
Like a true friend/creeper, as I waited for their parents to return I took photos of the dogs and of the decor on their dining room table. With the snow outside and giant windows in every room, the house had fantastic lighting.
It's no secret, I love dogs, and Maisie just has everything I love about dogs all in one: she's snuggly, she's strangely soft, and she doesn't smell or leave your hands feeling like you were just snuggling a dog. I spent a good portion of the weekend using Maisie as my person warmer.
One day I'll get a dog... but until then I'll just have to take photos of all the other dogs in my life!
