Henry Turns Two
January is over and that means the photo drought is too! With multiple weekend trips in the works for February and only 2.5 more seasons of "Parks and Rec" left on Netflix, my plan is to spend more of February outside than January.
Henry, who you may remember from eating pizza and a very messy first birthday turned two this past weekend. The party was partially geared towards kids and partially adults. I'm not sure I'd ever been at a party that plays a Moana song directly followed by Bruno Mars, but there's a first time for everything.
Ivy was never a snuggly dog. I have many memories of forcing her to sit with me over the years, but magically when Henry came along she realized attention was pretty cool and has snuggled with me more in the last year or so than the rest of our friendship in total.
Some things are very different this year than last, namely, Henry can use a fork and his head is nearly the size of his mother's. Other things, like his aversion to smiling for photos and love of coming straight at the camera haven't changed at all.
