Baby Shower Food
A few weeks back I co-hosted my sister-in-law's baby shower. She is one of the craftiest people I've ever met, so we had a super high bar for this shower. To meet the challenge I made a CAKE. Not just any cake, but the greatest cake of my life.
It was a standard vanilla cake with butter cream and strawberries in the bottom tier and blue and blackberries (obviously) on the top. There are (I think) just under 4 sticks of butter in this monstrosity! I also made a few other baked goods including a "leftover" layer of cake.
My sister-in-law has a Cricut machine, which I learned is really a super fancy printer that can cut stuff out. It's how she made all of the labels and the mom-osa hedgehog.
The whole party went off without a hitch - the food and decorations were pinterest-worthy, the presents were adorable, and the company wasn't too shabby either ;)
