St. Michael's, Maryland
July has been FULL of travel, which means zero time for editing photos. I just counted and so far I've spent 10 nights in my own bed, 7 of which happened in the last week! We spent the 4th of July weekend in the Catskills, and that next weekend we drove down to St. Michael's, Maryland for a wedding. St. Michael's is an adorable, tiny, town. It reminded me of the Cape, except I don't think there were beaches, only marinas.
Our first night there, we ate at a dockside restaurant and had an amazing sunset (as you can see). Steu, in true MD fashion, ordered crabs which took him about a million years to eat. The rest of us had long finished eating so I ended up manning the mallet to smash his crabs as he sucked the meat out to save on time.
Saturday morning, before the real photographer arrived, I took a few photos of the bride and her bridesmaids as they got ready. Comparing these photos to the last time I did this, I think I've improved a lot!
Matching socks for the groomsmen has become a thing in recent years, but I have never seen groomsman's socks with photos of the bride and groom all over them!
What a good looking group! These 3 made things really easy for me by always positioning themselves in the best light and being generally photogenic. :)
