Rabat, Not Greece
Our one full day in Rabat Steu said to me "I want to check out Kasbah of the Udayas" and I thought, "the what?" And dutifully followed along. We came to what looked like the walls of another medina and I figured we'd walk through the stone walls and see more stone colored buildings. I was very wrong.
I could honestly not believe it. Around each turn was another fabulous doorway, tiled fountain, or potted plant along the bright blue walls. It was really unbelievable.
After wandering through the labyrinth of streets, we left the walls to walk up the hill (yes, it was VERY hot) to the Hassan Tower and Mausoleum.
At this point the heat started to really get to us and we decided to go find some lunch before catching our train to Meknes for the next leg of our adventure!
